Putting On The Mind Of Christ | Streams of Grace Wk 12, Day 2

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5)

Philippians 2:5 says: ‘Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.’ The mind of Christ is humility, love, obedience, and victory. While others strive for status, Jesus emptied Himself to serve.

Romans 12:2 reminds us: ‘Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’

The battle is won in your thoughts. Your mind is the battlefield of the enemy so you must guard it with all jealousy.

Proverbs 4:23 says:  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

To have the mind of Christ, you must subject it to the knowledge of the word of God (scripture) and the authority of the Holy Spirit. You must do it will all diligence because the devil, the believer’s adversary, prowls around seeking whom he may devour. (1 Pet. 5:8).

It is very important for believers to guard their hearts, and tune it to the frequency of the Holy Spirit because as many as are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)

Similarly, the mind led by the flesh, leads to death, but the mind which is led and governed by the Spirit of God, leads to life and peace. (Romans 8:6).

So today, put on the mind of Christ—think love and truth, walk humility, and live in victory.
