Mercy Speaks Louder | Streams of Grace Wk 12, Day 4
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed. – Lamentations 3:22
The blood of Jesus speaks louder than judgment. Hebrews 12:24 tells us: ‘The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel.’
While the blood of Abel cries vengeance and retribution, the blood of Jesus speaks forgiveness and grace.
He says ‘come boldly before the throne of grace of grace’ (Heb. 4:16).
With His loving arms open wide, He welcomes the repentant sinner home. Don’t sit in the ashes and dirt of yesterday while the your Father calls you back to forgiveness and repentance.
The bible says in Psalms 103:8-12, the Lord is compassionate and gracious… He does not treat us as our sins deserve…
Micah 7:18 reminds us of the mercies and forgiveness of God: Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
James 2:13b says, mercy triumphs of judgement.
Mercy silences the accuser, triumphs over condemnation, and rewrites your story. Today, let mercy speak louder over your life than guilt, shame, or your past!”
