In The Power Of His Splendour | Streams Of Grace Wk 12, Day 1

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 29:2)

In the power of His splendour there is great awe and majesty. We could only but worship and praise Him when we so behold the splendour of His majesty.

Psalm 96:9 says: Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Worship the LORD in all his holy splendor.

His splendour encapsulated by the aura of His glory, is the radiant display of His majesty. When Isaiah saw the Lord in Isaiah 6, the train of His robe filled the temple with splendour! The seraphims covered their faces when they beheld the glory and the power of His splendour, full of immensity and brightness!  That same power covers you today.

Habakkuk 3:4 says: His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. His coming is as brilliant as the sunrise.

We are transformed from glory to glory when when behold Him in the power of His splendour – transformed into the same image as He is! (2 Cor. 3:18).

In Exodus 34:35, and 2 Cor. 3:7, the sons of Israel could not behold the face of Moses when he stayed under the power of His splendour for 40 days.

We receive such transformation only through the encounter of the power of His splendour.

Psalm 8:1 declares, ‘O Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!’ His excellent name bears His power that brings liberation, salvation and redemption that causes every knee to bow and every tongue to confess. (Philippians 2:10).

Stand in awe, walk in His light, and live in the power of His splendour. For His glory rests on you as you believe and walk continually with Him!”
