He Says You Are Free | Streams of Grace Wk 12, Day 7

If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)

John 8:36 says: ‘If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.’ The freedom that comes from God gives us the truest of freedoms. It sets us free from sins, yokes, chains, bondages, addictions, and everything our human power cannot undo or overcome.

He says I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

In Luke 4:18, the Bible says: He has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners. He has sent me so that the blind will see again. He wants me to set free those who are treated badly. (Lk 4:18, NIV).

He has freely given us His Spirit to be with us. It means we have freedom if His Spirit dwells in us because wherever His Spirit is, there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:17)

Galatians 5:1 proclaims: ‘It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.’ Chains fall when His Word is spoken. Condemnation ends when His blood is applied. Today, don’t live as a slave to fear, guilt, or sin. The King has spoken—He says you are free!

Declare it: I am free. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. I am free in Jesus name!
